At the International Motor Show in Moscow, held in August 2014, AvtoVAZ really surprised the public by exhibiting at its stands a new concept sedan Lada Vesta ... In February 2015, the Izhevsk Automobile Plant launched a pilot assembly of the three-volume, and on September 25, its full-scale production ... And already at the end of November 2015, the Lada Vesta sedan appeared on the "shelves" of the brand's dealerships.

The body of the domestic sedan is tailored in the new "X-design" of the brand, which endowed "Vesta" with an original, stylish and proportional look.

The front part of the car looks the most striking, and the credit for this belongs to the embossed hood lid, beautiful lighting equipment with the “Lada” brand and branded “boomerangs” playing on the motifs of the letter “X”.

Expressive stampings on the sidewalls continue the "X-theme", and the falling line, smoothly flowing into the lean stern, gives the Vesta's silhouette swiftness and dynamism. The designers also paid attention to the rear part of the three-volume, separating it with stylish lanterns with beautiful graphics and a large inscription "Lada".

The total length of Lada Vesta is 4410 mm, of which 2635 mm is the distance between the front and rear axles, and the width and height fit into 1764 mm and 1497 mm, respectively. The front and rear track widths are 1520 mm and the minimum ground clearance at full load is 171 mm.

The interior decoration of Lada Vesta looks beautiful, pleasant and truly modern. The toolkit is hidden in three shallow chrome "bells", in front of which a grasping "steering wheel" is "registered" (in the "top" versions it is supplemented by control elements).

The center console of the car is not only neatly "molded", but also stylishly designed. Its "top" is crowned with a 7-inch "TV" of the infotainment complex, which in the "available configurations" is replaced by a "two-din" radio tape recorder or a plastic plug, and the lower part is reserved for the climate control panel.

The interior of the four-door "Vesta" is distinguished by carefully selected finishing materials, although it is impossible to find soft plastics in it. The front seats are well shaped and endowed with the necessary adjustment ranges, and the not too embossed rear sofa can accommodate three adult riders, however, tall people may feel a lack of space over their heads.

The volume of the Vesta's luggage compartment in the stowed state is 480 liters, taking into account a full-size spare wheel on a stamped disk in the underground. The back of the "gallery" is transformed by a pair of unequal parts, forming a wide opening for transporting long items.

Specifications. The engine range of Lada Vesta, in the future, unites three petrol four-cylinder units, fitted to the European standards "Euro-5". They are combined with a 5-speed "manual" gearbox (originally "JH3", borrowed from the Renault-Nissan alliance), or with a 5-range "robot" with one clutch of its own design.

  • The basic version is a 16-valve VAZ-21129 engine with a distributed fuel supply of 1.6 liters, generating 106 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 148 Nm of maximum thrust at 4200 rpm. Paired with the "mechanics" 106-strong installation allows the sedan to accelerate to the first "hundred" in 11.8 seconds, with the "robot" - 1 second longer. The maximum speed capabilities, in both cases, are recorded at around 178 km / h, but the average fuel consumption varies from 6.6 to 6.9 liters per 100 km in combined driving conditions.
  • Intermediate versions will be equipped with a "foreign" 1.6-liter engine of the Renault-Nissan alliance (factory marking HR16DR) with an aluminum cylinder block and a timing chain drive, the return of which has 114 "horses" at 6000 rpm and 153 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm minute.
  • Under the hood of the "top" sedans will place a 16-valve unit equipped with a distributed power supply system. With a displacement of 1.8 liters, it produces a maximum of 123 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 173 Nm of torque, fully realized at 4000 rpm.

Since September 2016, Lada Vesta changed the Renault manual gearbox to the VAZ-21807 "mechanics", which is a reinforced version of the VAZ-2180 transmission with a cable-driven shift device and a slightly increased gear ratio of the main pair. Thanks to such a metamorphosis, the sedan has become more dynamic: its "maximum speed" is 188 km / h, and acceleration to the first "hundred" does not exceed 10.2 seconds. In mixed driving mode, the car "eats" 7.5 liters of fuel per 100 km.

The Vesta is based on the Lada B front-wheel drive architecture, designed by AvtoVAZ specialists with the assistance of Renault-Nissan alliance engineers. In running order, the domestic three-volume tank weighs from 1150 to 1195 kg, depending on the version. The front suspension design is represented by an independent scheme with classic MacPherson struts and a stamped L-shaped lever, but a semi-independent chassis with a torsion beam and spaced shock absorbers and springs is mounted at the rear.
The "Vesta" has a rack and pinion steering gear with a lower rack, fixed on a subframe, and an electric control amplifier. The braking complex combines ventilated disc devices at the front and drum at the rear with modern electronic assistants (ABS and ESP).

Options and prices. In the Russian market, the Lada Vesta sedan in 2018 is offered to buyers in seven equipment options - "Classic", "Classic Start", "Comfort", "Comfort Optima", "Comfort Multimedia", "Luxe" and "Luxe Multimedia".

  • The "simplest" sedan is estimated at 569,900 rubles, and its functionality is formed by: a pair of airbags, ERA-GLONASS system, ESC, EBD, ABS with BAS, TCS, HSA, on-board computer, power steering, heated front seats, audio preparation , 15-inch stamped wheels and other equipment.
    • For a car with air conditioning, you will have to pay at least 594,900 rubles, and with a "robot" - 619,900 rubles (they are available in the "Comfort Start" versions).

  • You can't buy a "top" car for less than 685,900 rubles, and it "flaunts" (in addition to the above options): power windows for all doors, factory "music" with four speakers, USB, AUX and Bluetooth, front and rear parking sensors, cooled glove box , alloy wheels with a diameter of 16 inches, side airbags, "climate" and the function of quick cleaning glass from freezing or fogging.
    • A three-volume unit in the same configuration, but with the Multimedia package, costs from 713,900 rubles, and its features are: a cruise with a speed limiter, a multimedia center with a 7-inch screen, a rearview camera and navigation, and an audio system with six columns.
