In September 2013, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant presented to the public a "particularly off-road" version of the UAZ Hunter SUV with the bold "Trophy" prefix in the name. In visual terms, in comparison with the base model, the car practically did not change, but it received slight metamorphoses in the structural part.

Externally, the UAZ Hunter Trophy can be recognized against the background of the "classic" modification by the body painted in brown-gray "Rushmo" color, and light-alloy wheels with a diameter of 16 inches, dressed in "toothy" Contyre Expedition tires with a standard size of 225/75 / R16.

In terms of overall dimensions, the "trophy" SUV is indistinguishable from the base model: 4100 mm in length with 2380 mm wheelbase, 2010 mm in width and 2025 mm in height. When equipped, the Hunter weighs 1,845 kg and has a ground clearance of 210 mm.

Inside, the UAZ Hunter Trophy is identical to the standard "brother" - an old-fashioned design with a mass of ergonomic miscalculations, rough and sturdy finishing materials and poor build quality. The car has a five-seater saloon with shapeless seats of the first and second rows, but with a sufficient supply of free space, and a luggage compartment with a volume of 1130 to 2564 liters, depending on the position of the "gallery".

Specifications. The UAZ Hunter "Trophy" is driven by a 2.7-liter gasoline inline four with a 16-valve timing and distributed fuel supply, generating 128 "mares" at 4600 rpm and 210 Nm of ultimate thrust at 2500 rpm.
It is combined with a "mechanics" for five gears and a plug-in all-wheel drive with a 2-stage "razdatka", a reduction gear and three modes of operation (in general, everything is like on the "classic" model).

From a standstill to 100 km / h, such an SUV accelerates in 35 seconds, reaches a maximum of 130 km / h, and on average "eats" 13.2 liters of fuel for every "hundred" in the suburban cycle.

The "trophy" UAZ Hunter in technical terms practically does not differ from the base car - a ladder-type frame, an all-metal body, a dependent suspension "in a circle" (spring-loaded at the front and leaf-sprung at the rear), hydraulic power steering, as well as a brake package with discs on the front and " drums "on the rear wheels.

A special feature of the car is the protection of the steering rods (supplemented by amplifiers made of pipes) and the gearbox with a "transfer case" - a steel sheet.

Options and prices. At the beginning of 2016, in the Russian market for the UAZ Hunter in the Trophy version, they ask for 649,990 rubles.
In the "base", the SUV has seat belts for front and rear riders, light-alloy wheel rims, power steering, headlight corrector, cigarette lighter, washable fabric seat upholstery and metallic paintwork.
